Altice / Optimum Customer Satisfaction Survey

After discussion at the March 8, 2021 council meeting regarding Altice / Optimum service in the borough and continuing dissatisfaction from residents, The Mayor and Council decided to create a survey so we can better understand the overall level of satisfaction of Lavallette homeowners. Please take a few minutes to fill out the survey and provide any additional comments you have. The borough needs this information effectively relay these concerns to Altice/Optimum and The Board of Public Utilities regarding Altice service in our area.

The borough has been making progress with Altice in regard to adding additional service bandwidth for our area. Now we need your feedback on interactions with Altice to be able to continue to make progress. The Borough has been in contact with representatives from Altice (formerly Optimum and Cablevision), to advise them of issues that residents are encountering. These concerns include insufficient internet and television service, as well as difficulties experienced with the customer service department. As a result Altice has created four channels for customers to advise them of issues with their service:

Contacting Optimum via any of these channels will result in a trouble ticket being created that will direct a repair team to assess and address the issue.
